Planning my paintings by first drafting them on procreate has become a routine part of my process. I collected a bunch of controversial moments in soccer history and pieced them together on procreate until I found a adhered to general design principles and that felt interesting. In creating my composition, I learnt a lot about how to move layers and how to work with multiple color palettes while maintaining visual harmony.
